New Year’s Eve with a 5-Course Prix Fixe Menu

Founder Jason Goldstein will be celebrating the first year anniversary of Genesis Steakhouse and Wine Bar, with a gala celebration on December 31, 2015. “The evening will have a Great Gatsby Theme, and will feature a 5-course prix fixe menu served at two seatings, 6 and 9 pm,” stated Goldstein. “And the Richard Brown Orchestra will perform for your dancing pleasure until 2 am.” Cost: $125 per person.

After years of planning and hard work, second-generation restaurateur Jason Goldstein opened the first Kosher steakhouse in the Southwestern United States – Genesis Steakhouse & Wine Bar, in Houston, Texas.

He follows in the culinary footsteps of his mother, Susan Goldstein, who opened Dessert Delights in 1985 to provide the Houston community with delicious and unique desserts. “Suzie,” as she is known by her loyal customers, long-time friends, and family, recognized a need for quality kosher dining and catering in the Houston area. In 2005, she opened Suzie’s Mediterranean Grill, which continues to serve the Jewish community in Southwest Houston. Its success is due to her deep-rooted culinary traditions from her Persian upbringing. She always focuses on quality, service, and sharing the exotic flavors she loved from her childhood.
